Creole Fish

Creole Fish

Creole Fish

This item is one of our "Your Choice - What You See Is What You Get" items. You will receive the same fish that is pictured here. This fish has a total body length of about 3". The Creole Wrasse has several color variations as it matures. Juveniles are purple or pink with a series of small spots along the dorsal. The spots fade and the fish become increasingly dark on the front half and purple or yellow through the back half of the body. Wrasses are generally hardy and easy to care for. They prefer a tank with plenty of rock work to hide in. They should get along with other tank mates but can be aggressive toward other wrasses. Wrasses like the Creole Wrasse are not considered invert safe. They may prey on inverts like shrimp and crabs. They should accept frozen foods, and maybe eventually flake/pellet food.
